This role will be responsible for growing SEO / Natural Search traffic from Search Engines to the company website. As the most technical member of the Search team, you will have deep SEO experience and an excellent ability to get the most out of those around you - in country development teams, QA resources and other Search team members. We are looking for someone who can turn complex and difficult SEO concepts into technical reality by writing clear, crisp and uncomplicated requirements and then drive them through to flawless execution.
• Bachelors Degree Required. Minimum 4 years work experience and at least 2 years in SEO
• Must be passionate about Search Engine Optimization and enjoy technology
• Proven ability to grow SEO for a corporate website. Ability to show top rankings gained or maintained for competitive keywords and/or demonstrate how you significantly increased SEO traffic to a corporate site
• Strong Knowledge of Search Algorithms and Ranking Strategies. Optimization specialist
• Knowledge of all basic SEO factors that influence results including but not limited to:
o Link building
o Keyword research
o On page and title tag optimization
o Long tail keyword and content strategies
o Localized keyword optimization strategies
o Backlinking strategies
o Indexation issues
o Internal Linking and Page Rank
o Technical issues – 301s, xml sitemaps, URL rewrites
• Must be familiar working with developers and different development methodologies such as waterfall, agile etc.
• Ability to generate ranking and traffic analysis reports using MS Excel, PowerPoint and Word
• Analytics expertise with such tools as Google Webmaster Tools, Google Analytics, Excel and SQL and have the ability to produce excellent reports that explain to the business what is happening in SEO
• A proven track record of being able to capture requirements and seeing them through to completion.
• Able to work well in a fast paced and pressured environments. Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize based on judgment.
