- Hold a Bachelors/Masters degree in Computer Science/Telecommunication Engineering with IP Certifications, preferably
- Have at 4 - 6 years of relevant work experience
Job Description
- Maintain knowledge of emerging IP Network technological trends and utilize this knowledge to build better technology solutions that support and drive business goals
- Assist in the definition of IP Network technology needs of the organization based on new and emerging technologies, and establish priorities and strategies consistent with business goals
- Follow up with vendor regarding the evolution of their IP Network product models in order to define technical road map of IP Network
- Provide strategic direction of emerging IP Network technology assessment and implementation with the help of test trails with vendor
- Participate with BU at different ongoing forums which are working for standardization of planning, equipment and other initiatives across all OpCos and develop recommendations internally for standardization
- Certify new products and software release by conducting testing trails with vendor and share results/feedback with VimpleCom to update information database across all OpCos
- Calculate cost/Mbps for IP Network via cost modeling in order to have sensitivity analysis between additional Mbps and associated cost
- Develop and share management with long-term IP business plans
- Liase with Procurement to get the cost for BP in line with VimpleCom cost books
- Serve as POC for Technical Budgeting team and assist in providing relative information for different requirements internally and from BU
Essential Skills
- Extensive knowledge of working on IP networks
- Advanced level proficiency in MS Office
- Strong presentation and leadership abilities
